About Nyarai Cellars

Stemming from Niagara, Nyarai Cellars is a virtual winery that focuses on crafting wines of distinct character and elegance without owning vineyards or a winery building. They carefully select vineyard locations in appellations like Niagara River, Lincoln Lakeshore, and Twenty Valley Bench to create wines with pure fruit expression. Steve Byfield, the winemaker at Nyarai Cellars, is part of a new wave of passionate, hands-on vintners in Niagara.

Their focus is on crafting high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Niagara region, achieved through close relationships with conscientious wine growers and meticulous winemaking practices.

Steve Byfield - Nyarai Cellars - Founder  Nyarai Cellars - Nyarai Cellars is a “Virtual” winery, in that we do not own our own vineyards or winery building. In creating wines that bear the Nyarai Cellars’ name, careful consideration of ideal vineyard localities is paramount.
